Giving to Rush Rush Heritage Society

Membership in the Rush Heritage Society is open to all those who notify us in writing that they have made provisions in their estate plan to benefit the future of Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. These may include one or more of the following:

  • bequest in a will or a revocable trust.

  • Participation in a life income program.

  • Designation of Rush as a beneficiary in a life insurance policy, retirement plan or other financial instrument like an IRA, US Savings Bonds, or a POD (Payable on Death) or TOD (Transfer on Death) bank or investment account.

  • A gift of real estate in a personal residence, a farm or a vacation home where the donor reserves the right of occupancy during his or her lifetime.
