Treatment of major depressive disorder with psychotic features



Clinical Trial Protocol Description

The first objective of the study is to determine if monotherapy with quetiapine is equally as effective as haloperidol plus citalopram in the treatment of depression with psychotic features. The second objective is to determine whether the combination of quetiapine and citalopram is more effective and safer than treatment with haloperidol and citalopram.



Clinical Trial Eligibility Criteria

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you are a man or women between the ages of 18 and 75, you have a primary diagnosis of major depression with psychosis, and your physical health is stable.
