The main entrance for Rush University Medical Center is located at 1650 W. Harrison in Chicago, Ill., just off the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290), less than five minutes west of downtown.
The medical center is easily accessible by car and public transportation.

Beginning late spring and continuing until the end of 2008, traffic on Harrison Street will be rerouted between Ashland Avenue and Paulina Street. Entering the Medical Center
The main entrance to the Medical Center is 1650 W. Harrison St. (the Atrium Building) across the street from the parking garage. The main hospital lobby is on the fourth floor of the Atrium Building. (See map of the medical center campus in PDF format.) This lobby can be reached by taking an elevator from the ground floor or by taking a walkway from the fourth floor of the parking garage.
There are two pedestrian bridges to the medical center from the fourth floor, Section A level of the parking garage:

The Harrison St. (or north) bridge leads to the fourth floor Atrium Lobby.

The Paulina St. (or west) bridge leads to the Professional Buildings and Armour Academic Center (Rush University).

After 9 p.m., visitors may use only the Paulina St. bridge.
