Predictors of Opioid Analgesic Responses Study: This study will focus on differences between both healthy people and people with lower back pain in how they respond to brief laboratory pain tasks while taking morphine, taking a substance that blocks the natural opioid-based pain systems in the body (naloxone), and while taking a placebo.

Stress, Coping and Chronic Pain: This study investigates whether stressful events and how people deal with these events can influence their low back pain.

Study of Dural Sealant Used in Cranial Procedures: The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether or not an investigational dural sealant can be used safely and effectively to help seal the dura mater after cranial (brain) surgery.
