Are you or a loved one living with Alzheimer's disease? As many as 5.3 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease. While it has no current cure, proper treatments and services can improve the lives of those with Alzheimer's and their loved ones, and clinical studies can provide insights on diagnosing, preventing and treating this disease.
The Rush Alzheimer's Disease Center provides a full range of services in the diagnosis and care of people with Alzheimer's disease, including clinical research, treatment, education and caregiver support. The center is one of 29 Alzheimer's disease research centers across the country designated and funded by the National Institute on Aging.
Join Raj Shah, MD, medical director of the Rush Memory Clinic, to learn about current research and treatments involving memory loss and Alzheimer's disease. Carol Farran, DNSc, RN, will discuss family caregiving skills, resources and well-being. A question-and-answer session will follow the talks.
