Clinical Services at Rush Locations for Hemophilia & Thrombophilia Center

The Rush Hemophilia & Thrombophilia Center operates six regional offices in Illinois. The main office is in Chicago on the campus of Rush University Medical Center. There are five outreach office locations: in Champaign (120 miles south of Chicago), Aurora/Fox Valley (60 miles west), Hoffman Estates (60 miles northwest), Joliet (60 miles southwest) and Kankakee (60 miles south).

Populations served include individuals in the Chicago metropolitan area and collar counties as well as rural Illinois. Satellite clinics are coordinated by Magdalena Ballarin, MSN. The Chicago clinic is coordinated by Audrey Taylor, RN. To reach either clinic coordinator, call (877) RUSH-KID (toll free).

The Rush HTC is located in the Rush Professional Office Building, on Harrison Street, just west of Ashland Avenue in Chicago's Medical District. The Rush campus is just west of the junction of the Eisenhower (I-290) and Dan Ryan expressways. Valet and garage parking are available; street parking is limited.

Take I-57 to University Avenue; exit east into Champaign downtown to 4th Street. Take a right (south) on 4th to East Springfield (next light). Take a right (west) on East Springfield. The one-story building where the clinic is located is between 2nd and 3rd streets, across from a park. Note: There is a West Springfield Avenue; be sure not to take this street. There is a small parking lot nearby, as well as street parking.

The office is located in the Rush-Copley Medical Center campus in the physicians office building. This building is located approximately five miles west of the intersection of routes 59 and 34 (Ogden Avenue). Ample lot parking is available at no charge.

The office is located in the Poplar Creek Surgical Center at the corner of Shoe Factory and McDonough roads. This building is located approximately one mile west of the intersection of Route 59 and Shoe Factory Road. Free parking is available in the lot outside the building.

From Chicago, go south on the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-94) and continue south on LI-57 to I-80 west. Continue on I-80 west to the Chicago Street exit, north. (The two previous exits are Briggs and Richards Street). When you get to the bottom of the Chicago street ramp, turn left (north). Continue until you go under a viaduct and must turn right or left or enter a parking lot. If there is parking available, park there. Walk north one block on Chicago Street; the agency is on the right side of the street.
