The section of endocrine surgery at Rush University Medical Center provides cutting-edge surgical care to patients with complex endocrine problems. Each member of this section has extensive experience in managing the full range of endocrine surgical diseases. Our team is also involved in clinical and basic scientific research dealing with benign and malignant conditions affecting the endocrine organs. We offer diagnostic testing for thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, pancreatic and gastrointestinal endocrine surgical problems. We perform in-office ultrasound exams, biopsy of thyroid nodules, intraoperative parathyroid hormone testing, and minimally invasive surgery.
