The Golden Lamp Society is dedicated to supporting the educational and scholarly activities of Rush University College of Nursing. The Society supports undergraduate scholarship and educational needs as well as News and Views, the newsletter of the College of Nursing and the Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Nurses Alumni Association. The Golden Lamp Society also provides funding for scholarships given annually to nursing doctoral students at the dissertation phase of their studies.
In recent years, the Society has supported the purchase of new equipment for the Nursing Therapeutic Laboratory in an effort to maintain and enhance one of the many important resources available to our students.
Membership
Beginning in September of 2005, membership in the Golden Lamp Society is open to alumni, faculty, students, and friends of nursing for an annual gift of $300.00 or more. Gifts are welcome at any time of the year and can be given to benefit any facet of the College of Nursing or the Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Nurses Alumni Association. For more information about making a gift, visit our main giving site.
