Healthcare Provider CPR
Audience:

The Healthcare Provider course is intended for participants who provide health care to patients in a wide variety of settings, including in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.

The course is designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages (including ventilation with barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen), use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO).
Core Elements:
- Adult/child/infant CPR
- Barrier devices
- Relief of foreign body airway obstruction (Choking)
- Automated external defibrillator (AED)
Course Length:
- 5-6 hours (full course)
- 3 hours (renewal course)
Certification card issued upon successful completion.
ACLS: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
Audience:
- Designed for healthcare providers who have a duty to respond to medical emergencies.
- Must have proof of a current Healthcare Provider CPR card to attend.
Core Elements:
- Recognition and therapy of the major ACLS emergency conditions, airway management and electrical therapy.
- Simulated team resuscitation.
Course Length:
- Full course
- 13-15 hours (two-day format)
- 10 hours (one-day format)
- Renewal course
Certification card issued upon successful completion.
PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Audience:
- Designed for healthcare providers who have a duty to respond to medical emergencies involving infants and children.
- Must have proof of a current Healthcare Provider card to attend.
Core Elements:
- Case based studies, special conditions predisposing infants and children to cardiopulmonary arrest.
- Simulated team resuscitation.
Course Length:
- Full course 13- 15 hours (two-day format)
- Renewal course 5 hours
Certification card issued upon successful completion.
