Rush sleep doctors provide a wide range of service outside the boundaries of Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. They provide consultation for local and national media outlets to foster public awareness of sleep disorders, the importance of good sleep and innovative sleep disorder treatments. Our sleep doctors lecture nationally and internationally at scientific conferences, medical schools and in academic settings. They serve on committees of national scientific and patient-oriented societies. And they serve as experts to review funding decisions from local and national biomedical research organizations, including the National Institutes of Health and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
