The Clinical Andrology Laboratory at Rush University Medical Center is a full-service, CLIA-accredited facility. The laboratory is part of the Rush Center for Advanced Reproductive Care, which has been a leader in the field of infertility since 1984. In addition to offering a full range of laboratory services, we work in concert with the in vitro fertilization lab and clinicians at Rush to ensure continuity of patient care.
Our laboratory offers a variety of comprehensive diagnostic tests, therapeutic processing of semen samples and cryobanking. Services include:
- Semen analysis
- Sperm longevity
- Sperm morphology (WHO standards)
- Semen processing for artificial insemination
- Semen cryopreservation for indefinite semen storage for patients undergoing assisted reproductive, radiation, chemotherapy and vasectomy
