The patients assessment at the hypertension program, typically for a second or third opinion, who have had difficulty with blood pressure control or who are at high risk for developing cardiovascular disease. Physicians at the center provide expert consultation for patients with hypertension, cardiovascular problems or pre-diabetes. The center offers special expertise in the care of patients with secondary hypertension — that is, high blood pressure due to a specific cause, like a blocked renal artery or a tumor — and people with diabetes and renal insufficiency. We offer continuous ambulatory blood pressure monitoring testing.
