Khan completed his medical school training in Karachi, Pakistan, and did a pediatric pulmonary/sleep fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh.

Robert A. Balk, MD
Director, Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center; director, Section of Pulmonary Medicine; professor of medicine
Balk attended the University of Missouri at Kansas City and the University of Arkansas, becoming board certified in pulmonary and critical care.

David P. Gurka, MD, PhD
Associate director, Adult Cystic Center; director, Section of Critical Care Medicine; associate professor of medicine
Gurka attended the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed residency and fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago Hospitals.
