Rush Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art care for adults and children with ear, nose, throat, and head and neck conditions. With a focus on making the patient experience as seamless and convenient as possible, our department strives to provide prompt, compassionate care and state-of-the-art surgical technique.

At Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Otolaryngology collaborates with neurology, neurosurgery, radiation oncology, facial plastics communicative disorders, and allergy, asthma, and pulmonology; as well as other specialists to address the full scope of problems affecting the ears, nose, throat, and head and neck.

The highly skilled multidisciplinary team at Rush provides personalized care in what are often complex situations, and dedicates itself to enhancing patient care through research both in the lab and in the clinic and education.

• Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery: Focuses on procedures to improve the look and/or function of the face and neck area.
• General Otolaryngology: Treats illnesses involving the ears, nose, throat, sinuses and head and neck.
• Head and Neck Oncology: Evaluation and treatment of benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck.
• Laryngology: Includes evaluation and treatment of voice disorders including preservation and rehabilitation, vocal cord paralysis, laryngopharyngeal reflux and laryngotracheal reconstruction.
• Otology, Neurotology and Lateral Skull Base Surgery: Specializes in managing diseases and disorders of hearing, balance, cranial nerves and the skull base.
• Pediatric Otolaryngology: Evaluation and treatment of pediatric otolaryngologic disorders of the ears, nose, throat, and head and neck.
• Rhinology and Sinus: Evaluation and treatment of medical and surgical diseases of the nasal passages as well as paranasal sinuses.
