
Jill Gattone is a licensed registered nurse in the Epilepsy Center where she is a nurse clinician for Dr. Marvin Rossi and Dr. Antoaneta Balabanov. Additionally, Jill serves as director of epilepsy education where she assists patients in their pursuit of education and understanding of epilepsy, while also visiting schools, corporations and community groups to help increase awareness and understanding of seizure disorders. She received her bachelor’s degree from Bradley University and her master’s degree in education from National Louis University in Chicago. Jill is a member of the Epilepsy Foundation of America and the American Epilepsy Society. Additionally, she serves on the Auxiliary Board for Kane-Kendall service coordinators. Jill has educated thousands of parents, teachers, and students across the country about epilepsy and its impact on the family. She has met with state and federal legislators, as well as governors and the former First Lady, Hillary Clinton, to discuss the importance of education and acceptance of people with disabilities. Jill and her husband, Phil, have four children. Their son, Phillip, has epilepsy.
