Julie Bach, MS, MSW

Julie Bach has worked in the field of aging with an emphasis in Alzheimer’s disease since 1979 when she received a master of science degree in gerontology from the University of Southern California. She also earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1982. She is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Illinois. Bach has been with Rush University Medical Center since 1991, first in the position of social worker in the Department of Neurology and the Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center clinic. She was coordinator of the RADC’s epidemiological study and since 1993 has been the coordinator of the Rush Religious Study. Since 1987, she has led Alzheimer’s disease support groups and has served on the board of directors of the local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
