Clinical Trial Title
A Study of an Investigational Drug in Hypertensive Pediatric Subjects 6 to <17 Years of Age

Clinical Trial Protocol Description

The purpose of this study is to evaluation the safety of an investigational drug to lower blood pressure in children between the ages of 6 and 17 years.

Clinical Trial Eligibility Criteria

Male or female 6 to 17 years of age with mean, sitting systolic blood pressure between 95^th percentile + 20 mmHg and/or mean, sitting diastolic blood pressure between 95^th percentile + 10 mmHg
Signed informed consent
Absence of cardiovascular, diabetes mellitus, nephrotic syndrome, or endocrine dysfunction or bleeding disorder
Able to be off antihypertensive medications for one period, between two to six weeks
