Combined Approach to Weight Management: The purpose of this study is to determine if an interdisciplinary team approach is superior to the traditional "doctor-patient" approach in assisting children and adolescents in managing their weight and preventing obesity.

Diet and Physical Activity Behaviors of Breast Cancer Survivors Study: DiAL is a survey-based research study designed to investigate lifestyle behaviors of breast cancer survivors in relation to their risk perception for recurrence.

Dietary Intake Study: The proposed study will examine if oral intake on the general care floors is affected by the 24 or more hours of mechanical ventilation patients receive while in the surgical or medical intensive care unit.

Educational Approaches to Weight Management in Breast Cancer Survivors: This study will test whether an Internet lifestyle modification program for female breast cancer survivors is equally, less or more successful that a traditional lifestyle program.

Obese Adults and a Novel Synbiotic: A study examining the application of a novel synbiotic to modulate the human gut microbiota and improve health in obese adults

Portion Size Study: This is a series of focus groups to study portion size estimation and what tools will be easiest for Hispanic mothers to use to estimate portions.
