Alcohol-Induced Liver Decompensation Study: This is a study to assess safety and efficacy of ELAD in subjects with alcohol-induced liver decompensation (AILD).

Severe Liver Disease and Accompanying Hepatic Encephalopathy: This is a study testing the safety and effectiveness of an FDA-approved drug, rifaximin, in patients with severe liver disease and accompanying hepatic encephalopathy.
