Protection of Research Subjects
The Human Subjects Protection division collects, disseminates and provides internal education regarding federal and state regulations pertaining to research involving human subjects. Our office provides support for Rush’s Institutional Review Board (IRB), the group charged with review and oversight of all human subjects research. The Human Subjects Protection office also maintains and archives all documents and correspondence related to human subject research at Rush. Individuals involved in research at Rush should feel free to contact the office with any questions about their rights as research subjects. Rush also maintains strict standards for animal care and use.
