Academic Schedule

Fellows will be expected to attend the following:

Rush Department of Ophthalmology:
Rounds: 2nd Wednesday of the month*
Rush resident review course: Spring
Rush Retina Day: Spring

Rush Retina Faculty:
Full clinical/research meeting: One Saturday a.m./month*
Fellow rounds: organized by fellows once a month with 1+ faculty
Research rounds Harvey: Monday 8:00-8:30 a.m.

Chicago Ophthalmological Society:
Once a month (usually last Monday of the month) at a downtown hotel with invited renowned speaker
Yearly scientific meeting: Early Summer

Rabb Retina Study Club of Chicago:
Every other month jointly with Northwestern, UIC, University of Chicago, and Rush Fellows and Residents.

*Fellows will be asked to prepare interesting cases for presentation at these rounds.
