Application Information
The urology program of Rush University Medical Center participates in the American Urological Association Matching Program. Applicants must be graduates of an LCME accredited program. The department does not sponsor visas.
Applications should be submitted through ERAS®. Deadline for receipt of completed applications is October 1 of each year.
Rush University Medical Center urology residency is a five-year program. The department accepts one resident each year. Residents are matched for the entirety of five years through the American Urological Association match in January of each year, this includes internship in general surgery. The first year is with the general surgery department, the subsequent four years with the urology department.
The minimum application requirements include: ERAS application, 3 reference letters, personal statement, transcripts, and USMLE data. All applications are reviewed. Please complete your file by October 1 of each year.
Interview candidates will be notified via email and/or by phone.
Our interview dates are: Saturday October 24, 2009 and Wednesday November 4, 2009.
