In addition to the academic conference schedule, special educational programs are offered throughout the academic year including:

  • university-wide core curriculum on professionalism

Our residents are provided with a general surgery textbook, a basic science textbook, and a review guide at the beginning of their intern year and various additional textbooks throughout their surgical training.

The surgical skills curriculum includes lab instruction in surgical instrumentation, knot-tying, suturing, basic and advanced laparoscopic procedures, ultrasonography and stereotactic needle biopsy.

Academic Conferences
