Sleep Medicine Fellowship
Research Activity

Each fellow is expected to participate in a clinical or basic science research project affiliated with the sleep center. The objective is to develop a more detailed understanding of a particular area of sleep research, become familiar with technical and methodological principles and generate an abstract or manuscript pertaining to the research.

Attending regional or national sleep conferences is encouraged although financial support is currently limited. Conferences with sleep-related clinical and basic research include the American Thoracic Society Meeting (April), the Associated Professional Sleep Societies (APSS, mid-June), and the American College of Chest Physicians Meeting (ACCP, October/November)
