Graduate Medical Education
Fellowship in Rhinology (Advanced) and Facial Plastic Surgery

Program Overview: Surgical Training

The fellows will participate in well over 300 cases/year. The rhinologic cases will include a large number of primary and revision endoscopic sinus surgery, computer-guided surgery, septorhinoplasty, turbinoplasty, orbital decompression, sinonasal tumors, and anterior skull base surgery including CSF leaks. The program director receives referrals for challenging rhinologic cases from general Otolaryngologists within the Chicago metropolitan area.

The facial plastics cases are centered around primary and revision rhinoplasty (the “union” of rhinology and facial plastic surgery), but fellows will also be well-trained to perform blepharoplasty, facial implants, facial trauma, scar revision, facelift, browplasty and forehead lifts, local flaps and otoplasty.
