Bruce McLeod, MD
Bruce McLeod, MD, FACP, is a professor of medicine and pathology at Rush Medical College. He is also director of the Apheresis Unit of the blood center at Rush. Dr. McLeod serves as attending physician at Rush University Medical Center.
Dr. McLeod is the past president of the American Society for Apheresis and remains an active member. He is also a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the American College of Rheumatology. Dr. McLeod's work has been published in numerous journals, including the Annals of Internal Medicine, Lancet, and the Journal of Clinical Apheresis.
Dr. McLeod received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship at Rush. Dr. McLeod also was a visiting fellow at the University of London.
