Mission Statement

The program is dedicated to the personal development, education and teaching of the resident staff, attending physicians, fellows, medical students, and allied health care professionals promoting practice-based learning and improvement, interpersonal skills and communication, and life long self-directed learning.

The program is further dedicated to cost effective utilization of resources; responsiveness to needs of individuals and the community; training for the ongoing changing needs of the health care delivery system; the highest standards of academic, teaching and research excellence; and professionalism and ethical principles.
