Post-Doctoral Fellowship
The Department of Behavioral Sciences at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL announces one post-doctoral fellowship opportunity in Psychosocial Oncology for the coming medical academic year. The fellow in this position will provide assessment and treatment of psychological disorders as well as behavioral health interventions in the Section of Psychosocial Oncology and Rush University Cancer Program. The position is a two year fellowship and involves 60% time in clinical activities (meeting IL licensure requirements), and 40% time in psychosocial oncology related research, teaching, and didactics. The program includes opportunities for teaching psychology residents.
Applicants should be recent graduates of an APA-approved clinical psychology program, have completed an APA approved internship, and have a strong background in psychosocial oncology and a strong promise of research potential. The salary and benefits package is competitive. Starting date July 1, 2009.
