Outpatient Psychotherapy/Behavioral Medicine
Post-Doctoral Fellowship
The Outpatient Psychotherapy/Behavioral Medicine fellow will provide assessment and treatment of psychological disorders as well as behavioral health interventions in the Outpatient Psychotherapy Clinic. Opportunities in pre-surgical psychological evaluation and treatment for gastric bypass/lap band and organ transplant candidates are also available. The position involves 60% time in clinical activities (meeting Illinois licensure requirements), and 40% time in obesity-related research, teaching, and didactics. The program includes opportunities for teaching both psychology residents and medical students.
Applicants should be recent graduates of an APA-accredited clinical psychology program, have completed an APA-accredited internship, and have a strong background in cognitive behavioral therapy and health psychology. The salary and benefits package is competitive. Starting date: July 1st preferred.
