Associate Professor
-Dr. Cole trained at the Hospital for Special Surgery and
obtained his fellowship training at Pittsburgh (Dr. Fu). He also
obtained his MBA from the University of Chicago.

Gregory P. Nicholson, MD 2001
Assistant Professor
-Dr. Nicholson relocated from Indianapolis to join our faculty
in September of 2001. He trained at Indiana University and obtained
his shoulder fellowship at Columbia University (Dr. Bigliani).

Assistant Professor (joint appointment in Internal Medicine and
Orthopedic Surgery)
-Dr. Weber is a primary care sports medicine attending who
received her training in Internal Medicine at Rush and subsequently
obtained her primary care sports medicine fellowship at the University
of California at San Diego.

Nikhil N. Verma, MD 2004
Assistant Professor
-Dr. Verma joined our faculty in September of 2004. He is a
former resident having just completed a sports medicine fellowship
at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.

Trish Palmer, M.D. 2005
Assistant Professor (joint appointment in Family Practice and Orthopedic
Surgery)
-Dr. Palmer joined our faculty in July of 2005. She is a primary
care sports medicine attending who received her training in Family
Practice at MacNeal Family Practice in Berwyn, Illinois. She subsequently
obtained her primary care sports medicine fellowship at The Orthopedic
Specialty Hospital under the auspices of the University of Utah.

-Dr. Mjaanes is a primary care sports medicine attending who received his training in Pediatrics at Rush and subsequently obtained his primary care sports medicine training locally at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
