Graduate Medical Education
Residency in Orthopedic Surgery

Program and Curriculum

The Rush Affiliated Network Orthopedic Residency Program, directed by Joshua J. Jacobs, MD, is a University-based program accredited by the ACGME. Four positions are available each year at postgraduate level 1. The program includes a rotating internship at Rush University Medical Center, followed by four years of training in general orthopedics and orthopedic subspecialties. The residency program is organized on the principle of increasing resident responsibility under the supervision of the attending staff.
