Resident and Program Evaluation
Faculty evaluate residents after the completion of each rotation. These evaluations are available for individual residents to review. On a semiannual basis, the program director completes a formal review with each resident. Once a year, all residents take the CREOG exam, a comprehensive written examination in obstetrics and gynecology. The results, analyzing individual strengths and weaknesses, are reviewed with each resident. Self-study programs are developed for residents as necessary.
The program director and the faculty are open to new ideas and approaches that will ensure a quality residency experience. A semiannual critique session provides an opportunity for interchange among attending staff and residents to share ideas and implement change.
