It is with pleasure that I invite you to visit the Department of Neurological Sciences at Rush University Medical Center. Neurology has always been an exciting field, and this is true now more than ever. In a time when medicine is undergoing dramatic changes, our department is continually expanding to meet our patients' needs and contributing to the understanding of neurological disease.

The residency program is an integral part of our department. The goal of our residency program has always been to train well-rounded neurologists. In addition to helping residents understand neurological diseases, it is important to provide them with a comprehensive approach to caring for patients. As a result, past graduates of our department have found success in academic medicine as well as in private practice.

Our faculty is committed to helping residents, fellows and students of Rush Medical College. My favorite hour of the week is the case conference where I meet with the residents. It gives me the opportunity to become involved with residents on some of the most interesting cases at Rush and at Cook County Hospital in a relaxed, mutually beneficial atmosphere.
