Department Overview
The Department of Neurological Sciences at Rush University Medical
Center in Chicago, Illinois, consists of seven sections and centers
devoted to the clinical care and investigation of neurologic disorders:
general neurology, cerebrovascular disease and neurological critical
care, epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology, movement disorders, multiple
sclerosis, neuromuscular disease/EMG, and the Rush Alzheimer’s Disease
Center. In addition, residents rotate with Rush
faculty members on the neurology service at Cook County Hospital, and
with pediatric neurology faculty in the Section of Pediatric Neurology
at Rush. There are more than 30 full-time clinical neurologists in the
department, all of whom are all actively involved in resident education.
