Application & Interview
Application Process
The RUMC Section of Nephrology Fellowship program accepts Fellowship
applications through the ERAS internet based computer system. We do not
use the Fellowship "Match" program. Fellowship candidates are required
to have (by the time of starting Fellowship) graduated from a 3-year
accredited Internal Medicine residency program. There are no visa
restrictions for applicants. The program has a rolling admissions policy.
Candidates can be offered positions as soon as their applications and personal
interviews with the RUMC Nephrology Attending staff have been completed.
For Fellowship years 2011-13, we will be interviewing INTERNALLY only,
limited to applicants from within the resident pool of Rush University
Medical Center’s Internal Medicine Program.
Interview Process
Applicants granted interviews should plan on spending the day. The applicant will meet with all core faculty members at the offices at 1426 W. Washington, Chicago, IL 60607 and have lunch with the fellows at Rush University Medical Center.
