Application and Interview
The Section of Movement Disorders accepts fellowship applicants who have completed full residency training in neurology, acquired an Illinois Medical Licensure to be effective by the time the fellowship begins.
Fellowship applicants should:
- Complete the Rush fellowship application form with an attached current photograph
- Provide an updated curriculum vitae
- Prepare a one-page description of his/her interest in neuropharmacology and extrapyramidal movement disorders
- Provide three letters of recommendation from senior colleagues attesting to medical skills and integrity
- Give three possible dates for a one-day interview that will include a 10-minute video presentation of a case of the candidate's choice to the movement disorder faculty
Fellowship applicants who are granted interviews should plan to spend the day for the interview. The applicants will meet with the movement disorder faculty and tour the laboratory facilities, as well as the neurology inpatient unit.
We are not accepting applications over the internet via ERAS®, the Electronic Residency Application Service. Applicants applying for the fellowship should mail applications before the October 31 deadline.
