The Department of Family Medicine includes residency programs in conjunction with Rush-Copley Medical Center.

The Rush-Copley Family Practice Residency is a 4-4-4 unopposed program at Rush-Copley Medical Center, a community hospital in Aurora, Illinois. Our state-of-the-art 190-bed facility — located approximately 35 miles southwest of Chicago — serves a diverse patient population from urban, suburban and rural areas. This makes Rush-Copley an ideal setting for training family physicians.

We are dedicated to preparing residents to practice the full scope of family medicine by providing superior education in a nurturing environment. Our emphasis on evidence-based medicine and the support we receive from Rush — with its long tradition of fine education in family practice — bring an academic flavor to our community-based program.
