Application Process

The Dental General Residency Program participates in the national PASS matching program. Each year the program receives about 70 inquiries regarding the GPR program. These inquiries lead to 40-50 applications for the two positions. Applications are completed and reviewed in October by the selection committee. This process usually results in 15-20 applicants who are invited to visit or interview.

Upon completion of the interviews in early December, each committee member is invited to submit a ranked match list. When these lists are received, they are combined to produce a master list which is sent on to the matching program in January. In the more than twenty five years of the existence of the program, the RUSH GPR has never failed to match.
