Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship "Bootcamp"
This conference provides an introduction to the pathophysiology, presentation and management of major cardiovascular and thoracic diseases and is presented annually by the academic faculty.
Transplantation Conference
During this conference, patient cases are reviewed thoroughly before and after cardiac and pulmonary transplantation; and all management issues are discussed.
Pediatric Cardiology Conference
Pediatric cardiologists and surgeons present patients and decisions regarding optimal management.
Chest Tumor Conference
During the multidisciplinary chest tumor conference, radiologists, surgeons, pulmonologists, oncologists, radiotherapists and pathologists evaluate and discuss inpatient and outpatient cases.
Monthly Quality Assurance Conference
In an effort to improve patient outcomes, cases that involve complications and death will be presented by the operating surgeon and the staff responsible for the patient's care and reviewed by faculty and residents.
CT Surgery Teaching Conference
Residents and department faculty present topics in a two-year cycle where didactic lectures and problem-based seminars are reviewed and presented.
