Graduate Medical Education
Fellowship in Allergy/Immunology

The Rush University Medical Center/John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County integrated fellowship training program in allergy and immunology offers two-year, ACGME-approved positions to physicians who have met requirements for certification in internal medicine or pediatrics.

The program provides extensive experience in patient care, teaching and research, with training in classical allergy as well as basic and clinical immunology.

Fellows see adult and pediatric patients under faculty supervision at both Rush and neighboring John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County. This includes patients from varying socioeconomic backgrounds with a variety of diseases including:

  • rhinitis
  • asthma and other respiratory problems
  • dermatitis
  • primary and acquired immunodeficiencies
  • autoimmune diseases
