(7) Abstracts for the annual American Geriatric Society Meeting every May Each fellow is required to submit an abstract for the poster competition at the annual AGS meeting. The breadth of clinical experiences afforded the geriatric medicine fellows provides ample opportunity for thoughtful case reports. If the abstract is accepted, the fellow creates a poster, including a brief discussion of the disease state, the approach to management and final conclusions. The department subsidizes all four fellows to attend the annual AGS meeting. | ||
