  • Initial team evaluation
  • Pre-surgical nasal reconstruction, primary soft palate repair, primary gingivoperiosteoplasty (if indicated), microscopic ear exam and PE tubes as needed (3-4 months)
  • Complete palate reconstruction (12-18 months)
  • Annual team evaluations with early speech and hearing emphasis
  • Dentistry: oral health education, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics during transitional dentition prior to alveolar reconstruction, final orthodontics during permanent dentition, conventional or osseoinegration prosthetic management as needed.
  • Alveolar bone graft surgery (for 8- to 12-year-olds)
  • Final soft tissue and skeletal habitation as needed (childhood, adolescence or older)
