Program Description

The Department of Otolaryngology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, provides state-of-the-art care for patients with diseases of the ear, nose, sinuses, larynx and upper respiratory tract as well as diseases of the head and neck, tracheobronchial tree and esophagus.

Services Provided

Comprehensive services include:

  • Pediatric otolaryngology services

The department operates an otolaryngology ambulatory care clinic staffed five days a week for inpatient consultations, outpatient treatment and emergencies.

Clinical Team

David D. Caldarelli, MD, is chairperson of the Department of Otolaryngology. The department has a full staff of attending physicians with expertise in all subspecialties of otolaryngology, including head and neck surgery and reconstruction, minimally invasive head and neck surgery, otology, neuro-otology, skull base surgery and pediatric otolaryngology.
