Music therapy clinic developed as an innovative and model communication program that serves primarily individuals with autism spectrum disorder. Their therapeutic approach relies on the use of current best practice, research based interventions including: applied behavioral analysis (ABA), picture exchange communication systems (PECS), DIR/floor time (Developmental, Individual-Difference, Relationship-Based), social stories, sensory integration, relationship developmental intervention (RDI), positive behavior intervention supports (PBIS), non-violent crisis intervention and prevention, behavior modification, and various listening therapy programs. All music therapists are board certified. Services include individual and group music therapy sessions (4 children per group minimum) and specialized instrument instruction. Provide contractual music therapy services with a qualified music therapist, all instruments and equipment as well as supervision and training for all of our staff. Offer free presentations to family support organizations or groups and offer discounts to agencies or schools that are referred by our clients. All presentations are interactive and informative, teaching the concepts in which they base their therapeutic interventions and providing opportunities for all to participate. "The Naturals" - an instrumental band with young adults with autism who will play at autism conferences, special needs conferences and fundraising events.
