Running-related injuries are an unfortunate, yet common, occurrence. Whether you are new to running and need to learn proper technique or a seasoned runner in need of injury prevention and treatment options, fitness experts at Rush can help you put your best foot forward.
- 8 a.m. — Physical therapist Charles Cranny, PT, MBA, will begin the morning with a demonstration of proper warm-up exercises and lead the group in an optional 5K fun run.
- 8:45 a.m. — Light breakfast
- 9 to 11 a.m. — Orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon Simon Lee, MD, and sports medicine physician assistant Kyle Pilz, MMS, PA-C, will discuss surgical and nonsurgical treatment options for knee, foot and ankle problems. Dr. Lee and Kyle Pilz are from the private practice Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush.
